Indiana Association of Public Health Physicians and Local Health Departments Organization, Inc.

(Indiana's SACCHO - State Association of County and City Health Officials)

The Indiana Public Health Foundation, Inc. is an accredited provider of Continuing Medical Education credits for physicians who serve as Health Officers in Indiana's 94 counties.  Other physicians may also attend these Seminars conducted three times per year:  February, June, September.  Didactic lectures as well as workshop sessions are included.  Health Department staff and local members of boards of health also participate in these Seminars with Health Officers to address means by which they may improve the services offered by the departments.  SACCHO is the state counterpart for NACCHO, the National Association of County and City Health Officials.
